Starting soon at LivingSocial.com and on our LivingSocial mobile app, music fans can get the best deals on live events across the country. The partnership will give concertgoers access to amazing shows at Ticketfly venues, starting in the following pilot markets: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and DC/Baltimore.
The new collaboration comes at a time when mobile purchasing and ticketing is on the rise. LivingSocial has sold more mobile tickets for live events in the first half of 2013 (300,472) than in all of 2012 (255,979). Ticketfly’s mobile transactions have also surged, doubling in the last year alone from 9 percent to 18 percent. Artist and promoters are increasingly offering select windows of opportunity for premier events, and fans can now purchase their tickets on-the-fly via the LivingSocial mobile app. Fans can also store tickets on their mobile devices, so there’s no chance of leaving tickets at home.
