Add a restaurant now available! 20

At long last, our most requested feature within DiningSocial is now available! The capability to add a new restaurant was launched last night. It should be a fairly simple process:

1) Search for your desired restaurant

2) If you do not see the restaurant you are looking for listed, click the "add a restaurant to our database" link that will show up on the search results page

3) This will take you to a page where you can enter in key information about the restaurant, such as cuisine type, name, address, and more

We will continue to improve the process and can't wait for your feedback to let us know how we can make the experience even better.

    Cool restaurant in Monaco Sunny terrasse, free wfi, burgers, club sandwich, pasta, salads, open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm for breakfast, lunch and drinks

    GRANO Authentic Italian Restaurant in Mississauga, Ontario 285 Enfield Place, Unit R-108 Where the cook (Sandro) and his wife (Felina) who makes all the deserts daily, are the owners. The atmosphere is quaint, cosy, family oriented and the food.........incredible. I am currently working my way through the menu and I'm on the second page. I have never had a better Tiramisu and I've had many. Opened last fall, but this place is already getting a name for itself through word of mouth. If you're in the area and hungry for good home made Italian food, you've got to try this place. Grano. Nancy

    I am interested in how the photos are generated for restaurants. It seems that there are generic food photos based on the type of restaurant it is. I know that users can add their own photos, but I am wondering if those added photos can be used as the restaurants' image.

    You need to add a link or a button in a more accessible place. I love the new feature, but it's difficult finding the link to do it!

    Many restaurants have their own website, it could be nice to add a field "web page" just beside the address. Ciao mauro

    Not sure whether this is a bug or a timing issue. Everytime I add a picture to the newly added restaurant, it displays as a red-x. I have to add the same picture twice to make it display correctly.

    Very nice ambience with an Irish influence. The food is "excellente!", and Johan the owner and his wife are the coolest hosts in the Overberg. Find them in Struisbaai when you visit the Southernmost tip of Africa again.

    Okay I took my friend to Grano, that wonderful restaurant in Mississauga, across from Square One and ordered the 'special'. You have got to try this, it's not on the menu but I'm sure it soon will be. Don't know what it's called but here's what's in it; chicken breast in a cream based, amaretto with apricot and walnut sauce. Indescribable. Honestly, after we had it, the couple next to us ordered it and also expressed their pleasure. You know, it's the kind of meal where you ask for more bread just so you don't have to lick the plate. The table in the other room hearing us talking about it also ordered it. On my way to the ladies room, I over heard them telling the wait staff how great that chicken dish was. Definitely worth the trip over to Grano, at Enfield Place, Mississauga. Call them to book and for directions at 905-276-1234. You will not be disappointed.
