A common complaint is that all book actions result in a generic ‘added a book’ feed item. I’ve now made the feed items less generic/more accurate… e. g. now reading, finished reading, rereading, wants to read are now all disambiguated.

Can we get only one feed item instead of 3 when we finish a book, rate it, and review it?

There's a minor infrastructure limitation with us re: consolidating the three things. Not something we can't resolve, but might be further down on the priority list.

For some reason it says that I'm "re-reading" I've only just added by "reading now" and never had in my collection before.

The "re-reading" bug is now fixed.

When I am looking at a friend's bookshelf, it has excerpts from their reviews. There is no way to go directly to their full review. There is a link for reviews of the book, but you might have to browse through all the reviews to find the one you wanted to read. Keep up the good work. This program is great!

I love this program and nag every one of my friends to add it. The moans feel like splitting hairs, but yes one item on the feed would be good, as would one version of each book. Am gonna carry on loving it if these are never fixed!

About the 3 feeds...how about an option to turn feeds on and off for reviews, reading, and rating independently from each other?

To make it say 're-reading', you add the book as 'already read', and then change it to 'currently reading'. But meh.

Dude, quit spamming my minifeed. If you can't consolidate posts, then let us turn off the updates per each action with a setting. I rate & review three books, and it's posting 9 items. Sucks.

Nice improvements... Any chance you could add "Couldn't finish" as an option? There are a great many books I start and can't get all the way through before passing on to a friend. I've left them off my lists because I don't want to suggest I've actually read it when I may have stopped after one chapter or 20.

Add another vote for letting me control what goes on my minifeed. I just updated for the first time in a while, and now my entire minifeed is adding books, rating books and reviewing books.
